Singapore Airlines, the national carrier of Singapore, has its main hub at Changi Airport, from where it operates from Terminals 2 and 3. Flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town will depart from Terminal 2. Singapore Airlines was the first airline to bring an Airbus A380 into commercial use, and in January 2008 took delivery of a second A380. Singapore Airlines is a member of the Star Alliance airline alliance.

Sinagpore Airlines offers First, Business and Economy class aboard its aircraft. A meal service is available to passengers in all classes, with those in First and Business class able to take advantage of the Book the Cook programme, to book their choice of meal in advance from the a la carte menu. Passengers in First Class travel in SkySuites, which offers daytime seating that can be turned-down at night by the cabin crew into a bed with luxurious bedding. In all classes, personal inflight entertainment systems are provided.

Krisflyer, the loyalty programme of Singapore Airlines, has three levels of membership which are Flyer, Elite Silver and Elite Gold. Member benefits include Gold members may check in an additional 20kg of baggage above the normal restrictions for the booked travel class. Passengers who only travel in First or Business Class may also join the PPS Club, which requires a minimum annual points collection to retain membership. PPS Club members are entitled to check in double the baggage allowance of the class being travelled in. Silver Kris Lounge facilities are available for PPS Club members, Elite Gold members and those travelling on First or Business class tickets.

Singapore Airlines is the national carrier of Singapore, based at Changi Airport. Its six gateways into the United States are Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco, New York and Houston. In 2008, the airline has introduced a new service flying four times per week from Houston to Moscow and then on to Singapore, providing the first service directly connecting Houston and Moscow. Singapore Airlines is a member of the Star Alliance airline alliance.

On its flights to the United States, Singapore Airlines operates First, Business, Executive Economy and Economy class cabins, all offering complimentary meals and inflight entertainment. Executive Economy passengers are able to relax in a lounging area on board and benefit from greater personal space than that available in Economy class. Passengers travelling in First or Business Class may book meals of their choice from a selection using the Book the Cook facility, available up to 24 hours before departure. Silver Kris Lounge access is also available for passengers in First and Business class.

Singapore Airlines operate a frequent flyer program called Krisflyer, with Flyer, Elite Silver and Elite Gold membership levels. Free flights and upgrades are among the benefits available for members.
