Air France
Air France, a member of the SkyTeam airline alliance, is the national carrier of France. The airline flies 14 times weekly from Johannesburg to its main hub at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. Passengers are then able to make onward connections to destinations across the Air France network covering almost 100 countries. Air France operates commercial agreements with other airlines enabling them to offer flights from Cape Town, Durban, East London, George and Port Elizabeth.
On Air France aircraft the cabin is divided into First, Business and Economy classes. On long haul flights, all classes offer meals with a choice of dishes and entertainment including individual video screens and a selection of French and international newspapers. Passengers in First and Business class have seats that convert into 2 metre long beds for comfort. Airport lounge Access is also available to passengers travelling in those classes.
Air France operates a loyalty programme for its frequent flyers called Flying Blue. Membership can be held at Ivory, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels. Points can be accrued to earn free flights, and other benefits include priority check in and an additional baggage allowance. Air France operates the frequent flyer programme in conjunction with KLM and passengers gain membership points by flying with either airline or transactions with affiliated partners.
For professionals working within the Oil and Gas industries, Air France also runs a programme called the Petroleum Club, which offers advantages including priority check-in.

Air France
Air France is France’s national airline and its main hub is Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. It is a subsidiary of the Air-France KLM Group. As at 30 June 2007, the airline had a fleet of 389 aircraft, flying to 188 destinations in 82 countries. Air France is a member of the SkyTeam alliance.
Air France offers First, Business and Economy on its aircraft. First Class offers 2 metre long beds in a cabin seating 4-8 people, with a choice of dining at a time that suits the passenger. Business Class also offers seats that convert into almost flat beds. Economy class offers inflight meals and entertainment.
Flying Blue is the frequent flyer programme of KLM and Air France. The scheme has Ivory, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels of membership, all of which, with the exception of Ivory are considered Elite membership. Elite membership is obtained by earning enough points within a calendar year to reach the relevant threshold. All levels earn points to be converted into free flights, while Elite membership also includes priority check in, additional baggage allowance and bonus miles. Gold and Platinum levels also include lounge access. Air France additionally offers the Petroleum Club for Oil and Gas professionals.
Air France also operates CityJet for Air France, which flies to London City Airport, only 20 minutes from the City of London and 5 minutes from Canary Wharf. Passengers at London City Airport can check in as little as 10 minutes before the departure of their flight.
